Review of Kindergarten Preschool in Černošice
We were looking for a preschool in Černošice that would accept two-year-old children, as I needed to return to work. Kindergarten made it to our shortlist mainly due to its natural approach to English language learning and the option of attending only three mornings a week, which suited us perfectly in the beginning.
After enrollment, there was an adaptation period during which I was allowed to stay in the classroom with my daughter for a few days to help her get used to the new environment. Initially, we planned to transfer her to a public preschool a year later, but we eventually abandoned that idea. The care and approach at Kindergarten were of such high quality that we decided to stay for the full four years – and it turned out to be a great investment.
Over time, we increased both the number of days and afternoon attendance, and our daughter was always happy to go. She often even sent me home, asking me to pick her up later.
During the first two years, children in her class primarily communicated in Czech, while in the second half of their time at the preschool, they transitioned to English with a native speaker. However, throughout the entire period, the children were naturally exposed to English conversation – through activities, songs, and daily interactions with the teachers. As a result, my daughter is now able to hold simple conversations in English and has developed a very positive relationship with the language.
Every afternoon, the preschool offers themed clubs – such as music club, art club, sports club, Spanish club, cooking, or LEGO building. Our daughter truly thrived there. We regularly received detailed reports on her progress and areas where she could continue to grow.
The preschool preparation was of a very high standard – every day, the teacher dedicated at least 30 minutes to working with the preschoolers. It wasn’t just about getting ready for school enrollment, but also about developing general knowledge.
The preschool also organizes a wide range of extracurricular activities – trips, excursions, school in nature, a ski course, and celebrations for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Twice a year, the children perform – once at the Christmas party and again at the end of the school year (so called Summer Show) with a wonderfully prepared program. Our daughter always enjoyed these events immensely.
I sincerely thank the entire teaching staff for the wonderful four years our daughter spent at Kindergarten. They were years full of joy, growth, and beautiful memories.
